November 6: Release new song Laissez-Moi
On 6 November 2026, Emma Kok releases her debut single, 'Laissez-Moi', giving a voice to exactly that moment you choose yourself. Through English lyrics and the French phrase 'Laissez-Moi', Emma finds a recurring, unmistakable expression of that feeling. The song delivers a heartfelt, clear message that lingers, giving those who have held themselves back for so long the strength to stand up.
Laissez-Moi
...'I know it’s not what you want to hear,
But listen when I’m talking to you
My fear, my fear'...
Musically, orchestral sounds and classical elements carry this tension. An arrangement of piano and strings gradually builds, creating space for Emma’s expressive voice. In this single, Emma brings a modern touch to the classical sounds that have long accompanied her, finding a style that sets her apart.
Emma Kok has already shown her ability to move people with her voice. Her rendition of Barbara Pravi’s 'Voilà' alongside André Rieu brought her international recognition. World tours with Rieu, a performance with Helene Fischer, and sold-out concerts of her own in Amsterdam followed.
'Laissez-Moi' now marks the beginning of a new chapter, inviting us to get to know Emma Kok through her own music.
November 6 you can stream the song on all platforms!
